What Is a DWT/RC R Checkweigher Used for? Applications of the Roller Scale by RADWAG
The DWT/RC R checkweigher, in other words, the roller scale will enable you to weigh heavy, large-size packages such as pallets or crates. It allows for final product mass control before it enters the warehouse or is transported to the customer.
Adjust the scale to your requirements
The distinctive feature, and at the same time the biggest advantage of roller scales by RADWAG, is the almost unlimited possibilities of adapting these devices to your needs. You decide what your roller scale will be made of: the powder-coated version will work well in a warehouse, and the stainless-steel version – in wet environments. You decide whether your scale will also operate in feeder mode, by controlling the feeding valves. You choose the interfaces, you decide which external devices you will work with, you choose the algorithms for controlling the production line.
Getting started?
Select an interface that your production line supports
An input/ output module and a variety of communication interfaces and protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP provide integration with control systems.
RADWAG roller scales offer the option of using one of four industrial interfaces, depending on your requirements. All our interfaces allow you to:
- start and stop the dynamic weighing procedure remotely (Start and Stop function),
- enter the batch number (Batch Number Readout function),
- select a product (Select Product During Standstill function).
Do you want your scale to work with a barcode scanner?
Our roller scales are compatible with barcode scanners:
- 1D and 2D,
- manual and automatic.
Data contained in one-dimensional (bar) barcodes can be read using 1D scanners. 2D scanners, on the other hand, can read 2D codes, which are large amounts of data encoded in images composed of black and white squares.
You can use our scales if you have a manual or automatic scanner mounted above your production line.
Roller scale and printer – the perfect combination
Do you use a RADWAG roller scale but not a printer? You have no idea what you are losing.
You can easily print a ready report (e.g. statistical or PGC) at any time thanks to the direct connection between the scale and a printer.
Do you require product parameters or information on a specific operator? Just select, press “print”, and you’re done.
The automatic printout function allows you to receive an automatic frame, i.e. information sent to your computer or printer, immediately after weighing. What does this mean for you? Possibility of recording weighings in real time. You can customise the automatic frame based on your preferences. What do you need? Mass? Product code? Date? You got it.
Weigh the product and print the label
Do you print labels to identify products in your company? If so, you understand how time-consuming and tedious your work would be without a label printer. We have some exciting news for you: RADWAG roller scales are compatible with label printers.
Our product range includes a label printer that can print thermal and thermal-transfer (paper, foil) self-adhesive labels. The printer communicates with the roller scale via Ethernet or RS 232.
Does Your Line Require Special Control Algorithms?
The RADWAG roller scales software allows you to adjust the scale operation to the specific requirements of your line.
