New MPS.M and MPS.T Weighing Modules

New MPS.M and MPS.T Weighing Modules

The weighing modules have been designed for mass measurement with a readability from 1 mg. They are intended for integration in machines and production lines. Perfect for companies working in production automation as well as for machine and automation device developers. Reliable for processes requiring control, batching and filling.

Weighing Modules – Advantages

  • Compact size
  • Possibility to operate without a weighing terminal
  • RS232 communication interface
  • Personalisation of the weighing pan to customer requirements.

MPS.M Weighing Module

It features a measuring system based on RADWAG’s proprietary MONOBLOCK® technology, which allows weighing with a readability of 1 mg at 640 g and 1 kg capacity as well as with a readability of 10 mg at 3.3 kg and 6.3 kg capacity.

MPS.M Weighing Module – Application

This OEM product is mainly used for integration into machines and production lines. Thanks to its compactness and ability to operate without a weighing terminal, the MPS.M module is the ideal solution for companies involved in production automation as well as for machine and automation equipment developers. The module will find application in many processes requiring control, batching and filling.

MPS.M Weighing Module – What Are Its Advantages?

  • Compact size
  • Compatibility with R-Panel computer software
  • Cooperation with R Weighing Terminal
  • Possibility to personalise the weighing pan to the customer’s requirements
  • Internal calibration (MPS.M.R2 only)
  • Communication with it can be carried out using the ASCII character communication protocol – Radwag CBCP available on the RS232 port.

What Do You Get in the Set?

  • Module with standard weighing pan
  • Power supply
  • P0108 – RS232 cable, computer – module.

What Does the MPS.M Weighing Module Fit with?

Recommended accessories:

  • R Weighing Terminal

Physical operator’s panel with LCD display. It not only displays the mass, but also allows the operation and configuration of the module parameters.

  • R-Panel computer program

Virtual version of the weighing terminal; enables the module to be operated via a computer. It provides all the buttons and functions found on the (physical) R terminal, including for taring, zeroing or parameter setting. Communication between the R-Panel software and the MPS.M module is achieved by means of an RS232 interface. The automatic search algorithm of the weighing module translates into an easy connection.

  • P0108.5

5 m RS232 cable; computer – module.

  • PT0487

Splitter which allows the MPS.M module to be connected simultaneously to the R terminal and to a computer, PLC or other device using the RS232 port.

MPS.T Weighing Module

The MPS.T Weighing Module is used to measure mass with a readability of 1 mg to 100 mg. The operating principle of this module is based on load cell force measurement. The benefits of the use of a load cell are the operational reliability resulting from the simplicity of the design.

MPS.T Weighing Module – What Is Its Application?

An OEM product designed for integration in machines and production lines. The MPS.T module is widely used in processes requiring inspection, batching and filling. Its compact size and independence from the weighing terminal make it the preferred choice of machine and automation equipment developers and production automation companies. Communication with the MPS.T Weighing Module can be performed using the ASCII character communication protocol – Radwag CBCP available on the RS232 port.

What Features Does the MPS.T Weighing Module Have?

  • Compact dimensions
  • RS232 communication interface
  • Cooperates with R-Panel software
  • Compatible with R weighing terminal
  • Weighing pan adaptable to customer requirements.

Equipment

Included with the MPS.T module with standard weighing pan you will receive:

  • Power supply
  • P0108 – RS232 cable, computer – module.

MPS.T Weighing Module – Cooperation with Accessories

  • R Weighing Terminal

Physical operator panel that shows mass on an LCD display. Allows operation and configuration of the module parameters.

  • R-Panel software

A version of the weighing terminal that enables virtual operation of the module via a computer. It allows the user to access the buttons and functions found in the (physical) R-terminal (taring, zeroing, parameter setting and others). The RS232 interface allows the R-Panel software to communicate with the MPS.T module and the automatic search algorithm for the weighing module simplifies the connection.

  • P0108.5 – RS232 cable

Computer – module; length: 5 m.

  • PT0487 – splitter

Enables simultaneous connection of the module to the R Weighing Terminal and a device using RS232 port (e.g. computer, PLC).
