Why RADWAG Balances and Scales? Unique Features of Our Products

Why RADWAG Balances and Scales? Unique Features of Our Products

Laboratory balances manufactured by RADWAG have a set of special features that distinguish them from devices supplied by the competition. Discover some of the unique features of our products.

1. Databases

In databases you will store information you can use during operation (Operators, Products, Customers, Formulations, Pipettes, Minimum Sample, Packaging, Warehouses, Printouts and Series Databases), and results of measurements, processes or procedures (Formulations, Density and Control Reports). RADWAG balances have a mechanism of exporting and importing data to an external carrier (pendrive), which enables duplication of the same databases on many balances within a series.

2. Communication Interfaces in RADWAG Balances

Our balances can communicate with peripherals using interfaces available on the market. Standardly available are: USB A, B and C, Ethernet, Wi-Fi®, RS232 and HDMI. We are the only ones using the TCP/IP protocol in the hotspot and thus enable a fast and secure network connection. We have a communication module, IM02.1, which extends the functionality of the standard interfaces with Virtual COM and with the possibility of connecting the balance to, for example, PLCs (thanks to a 4 IN/ 4 OUT interface).

3. Lowest Reading Units on the Laboratory Balance Market

The UYA Ultra-Microbalances boast the smallest standard minimum weight (USP) of 0.3 mg. The standard minimum weight (USP) is a metrological parameter defining a mass value below which weighing under given conditions is not recommended due to the possibility of excessive measurement errors. Using the minimum weight ensures that the weighing results are within the established tolerances, as required by the quality assurance system in place. If the value of the weight to be weighed is above the minimum weight threshold, your result will be reliable. The standard minimum weight (USP) on our balances is very small, which means that we guarantee reliable results when weighing even very small masses.

4. RADWAG Balance Access Supervision

We are the only ones to enable up to four different user verification methods. These are: password, face recognition, fingerprint reader (accessory) and RFID tag*. Our competitors offer login by password only.

5. The Balance Monitors the Environmental Conditions during Operation

that is, temperature, humidity, pressure, vibration and air density. In addition, it informs the user about dynamic changes in environmental conditions, registers the occurrence of environmental conditions alerts during each measurement and displays the latest measurements in the form of graphs on the balance’s main screen.

6. Ambient Light in RADWAG Balances

Ambient Light is a way for the balance to communicate with the user by means of backlight colour. The system is used to inform the user about the balance’s status and to signal the correctness of weighing in the Checkweighing.

7. Microphone

RADWAG balances have been equipped with a microphone and thus carry out actions related to voice commands.

8. Notes in RADWAG Balances

At any time during weighing or performing procedures, you can add a digital note, which will be stored along with the measurement in the report database.

9. Graphs

RADWAG balances enable presentation of final results in the form of not only numbers, but also graphs (graph of weighing, measurement series and probability distribution, or Gaussian distribution) in Statistics or SQC. In addition, you can export these graphs to external media (pendrive) as a graphic file.

10. DWA Digital Weighing Auditor in RADWAG Balances

DWA is a set of functionalities that guarantees correct weighing at all times. It monitors, among other things, environmental conditions, automatic levelling, automatic adjustment and operation of the integrated antistatic ioniser.

11. Non-Standard Printouts

This unique functionality allows you to create any printout or label using multiple variables. The print database contains ready-made custom prints – you can use them immediately, edit them or create completely new ones. Each of the ready-made printouts has a name, a code and a so-called design. You create non-standard printouts in two ways: directly on the balance or on an external device such as a computer or smartphone.

12. Full Compliance with the 21 CFR Part 11 Regulation Made Possible by the RADWAG Balance Itself

dispenses with the need to use an additional PC with PC software.

13. Ability to Send Any Measurement to Any Spreadsheet or Any Editable File

and all this without the necessity of using additional PC software. All you need is a USB Free Link together with a USB A-C or USB A-B cable.

14. Hotspot and RADWAG Balances

This functionality allows remote operation of the balance without the need to connect to it using cables or adapters. Wi-Fi® not only enables remote operation of the balance’s screen and remote taking of measurements, but also access to reports (after prior authorisation of rights).

15. All Working Modes Are Always Available to the User

Even the most advanced ones.

16. Integrated Ionizer in RADWAG Balances

Microbalances and balances with a readability of [d] 0.01 mg have an integrated antistatic ioniser. The antistatic ionizer implemented in the balance, thanks to the use of modern technology, compensates the excess of positive and negative ions. It automatically switches on when the door is opened and automatically switches off when the door is closed.

17. A Module for Setting Reminders for Inspections, Qualifications or Maintenance

This means that the user doesn’t have to remember important dates and procedures. The balance remembers them for him/ her.

18. Autotest Module in RADWAG Balances

Our balances, with the use of an internal adjustment mechanism, perform a series of measurements, which ends with a report with information on its quality, among others, it displays the standard deviation value for the performed series.

This impressive set of functionalities doesn’t exhaust the list of unique features of RADWAG products. There are many more. Perhaps you will discover new ones yourself?
