Which Precision Balance to Choose? PS X7 and WLC X7 Series Balances by RADWAG

“What to consider when buying a precision balance?” and “Which precision balance to choose?” are the questions most often asked by our customers. In this article, we will describe the features and functions of an optimal precision balance and advise which model will meet your expectations.

X7 Series Precision Balances

RADWAG has recently added the X7 series balances to its offer. These include PS X7 and WLC X7 Precision Balances.

Why Choose PS X7 Precision Balances?

General Information

PS X7 Precision Balances have a readability [d] of 1 to 10 mg, and a maximum capacity [Max] of 200 to 10,100 g; both of these parameters vary depending on the model. The trump card of this series of balances is internal (automatic) adjustment, which relieves you from having to carry out this complicated and precision-demanding procedure yourself. The PS X7 balances are equipped with two IR sensors, which allow you a touch-free operation. Included with the balances of this series you will find a weighing pan, weighing pan shield, grounding bumper, three bumpers and a power supply.

The housing of PS X7 Precision Balances is made of plastic, and the pan is made of stainless steel. The degree of protection: IP 43.

Display in Precision Balances

In the balances of this series, we used the latest generation of capacitive display, which guarantees maximum working comfort. The simplicity of operation, the clarity of the menu and the intuitive layout of information on the display ensure your convenience. It is worth mentioning that the colour touch display of the PS X7 balances measures as much as 7 inches.

Communication Interfaces

In the PS X7 balances there are the following communication interfaces: RS232 (2), USB-A, USB-B, Ethernet and Wi-Fi®. The use of USB allows you to quickly transfer and copy work results (measurements, reports, databases) to a computer or another balance. Data management on the balance is also possible online, through remote access to this device and its database.

Databases in Precision Balances

In PS X7 Precision Balances, we have built the information system on a foundation of seven databases, which allow multiple users to work with a database of multiple goods, and then further analyse the weighing results collected in the database. In addition, you can make reports on formulas.

ALIBI Memory

PS X7 balances have ALIBI memory, which guarantees safety and automatic recording of your measurements, as well as the ability to view, copy and archive data. ALIBI memory will allow you to store up to 500,000 weighing records.

Ambient Conditions Monitoring in Precision Balances

For an additional charge, you will extend the functionality of your PS X7 balance with ambient conditions monitoring, that is, THBR 2.0 System, THBR Box Ambient Conditions Recorder, THB S or THB P Sensor and THB W Sensor.

Why Choose the WLC X7 Precision Balances?

General Information

WLC X7 Precision Balances have a readability [d] of 0.001 to 1 g, and a maximum capacity [Max] of 0.2 to 21 kg, depending on the model. Balances of this series have internal (automatic) adjustment. Their housing is made of plastic, and the pan is made of stainless steel. The degree of protection is IP 43.

Display

In the WLC X7 balances we used the latest generation of capacitive display, which provides maximum ergonomics of work. The simplicity of operation, the clarity of the menu and the intuitive layout of information on the display guarantee your comfort. The colour touchscreen display of this series of precision balances measures 7 inches.

Communication Interfaces in Precision Balances

The WLC X7 balances have the following communication interfaces: RS232 (2), USB-A, USB-B, Ethernet and Wi-Fi®. The use of USB allows you to quickly transfer and copy work results (measurements, reports, databases) to a computer or another scale. You can also manage your balance’s data online, by remotely accessing this device and its database.

Databases

In the WLC X7 Precision Balances, we based the information system on seven databases, which allow multiple users to work with a database of multiple goods and further analyse the weighing results collected in the database. In addition, you can create up to 500 reports on formulas.

ALIBI Memory in Precision Balances

The WLC X7 balances feature ALIBI memory, which provides safety and automatic recording of your measurements, and allows you to view, copy and archive data. ALIBI memory will allow you to store up to 500,000 weighing records.

X7 Series Precision Balances – Summary

Whether you choose the PS X7 series Precision Balance model or the WLC X7 series Precision Balance model, you are guaranteed the highest readability, the best repeatability and the highest quality. This is the domain of RADWAG products.
